On Thursday, January 30th, we are organizing the first of the series of wine tasting dinners for the New Year!<\/p>\n
We welcome the Troupi Winery and on this special occasion we have prepared a five-stage wine-paired menu curated by our sommelier Sakis Halvantzis. We invite you to taste together five of their best wines that will arrive from the Mantinea Plateau.<\/p>\n
The Troupi Winery was first introduced to us in 2010, but has a family viticultural history that dates back to the 1970s. The privately owned vineyards, in the centre of the Mantinea Plateau, are literally in the heart of the wider wine-growing zone, which is one of the most prominent wine-producing zones in Greece. In the last decade, the winery has evolved and now leads the way in the production of fine PDO wines from Moschofilero, Agiorgitiko and Mavrodaphne as well as a retsina from Assyrtiko. The Estate’s wines showcase the freshness of the fruit and terroir of the region.<\/p>\n
